Hi. I can finish all tasks and exercises. I can program a model from my licensed account but can't get the .tap file to show in my file explorer? How do i get it to output into a .gcd format for my machine?

On my company’s laptop and CREO license. Not on the virtual machine.

It sounds like your Creo Admin needs to configure a post-processor for your work center. Check out pdf page 7 on Post-Processor Configuration in the Milling course Training Guide. There are a few links to help with this process. You may need to log a support case with PTC technical support for further assistance.
