I have installed MSSQL version 12 and trying to connect the database while installing PTC RV&S 13.0.0.0. I am getting an error while entering the database instance information - "Could not connect to database. Please verify with the Database Administrator that the database information is correct.

Your post appears well documented but has not yet received any response. I am replying to raise awareness. Hopefully, another community member will be able to help.
Also, feel free to add any additional information you think might be relevant. For example:
- Have you verified that the database instance information (e.g., server name, port, instance name) is correct?
- Are you using the correct username and password to connect to the MSSQL database?
- Is the Windchill server able to reach the MSSQL server over the network? Are there any firewall or network restrictions that might be blocking the connection?
It sometimes helps to have screenshots to better understand what you are trying to do.
