How can I get a field to be editable by only a certain group?

We have many fields, including drop-down menus. We would like to restrict a field to be only modified by a certain group.

For example, there is a drop-down called "Developer Priority" and we want only a manager group to be able to edit that field. Is there a setting/configuration to do this? I could only find field restrictions as far as if the field is visible.

      You can use the Editability Tab within the edit field functionality, to define a rule that restricts the editability of the field to defined groups or members.
