Is there anyway to recover unsaved data in Integrity?
Ie. A user is creating an item that he has yet to save and suddenly faces a computer and/or network crash that leads Integrity to close.
In such a situation, users are able to "recover" their unsaved work in the regular Office programs (Word, Excel etc.)
I'm quite certain this doesn't exist in the Integrity context but our users are concerned and would like to know the best solution.
Are there any temporary files created locally or on the server that save input data that can be recovered?
Is there ANY solution to this or should they just focus on saving constantly at short intervals to avoid data loss?
Data loss is a large concern and any possible solution/workaround would be great.
Hello Sourabh Deshpande,
From the context being discussed here, it sounds like you're discussing the Integrity Manager/Workflows & Documents side of Integrity Lifecycle Manager. Regular item edits can't be "recovered". They are either committed to a save or lost.
As of Integrity LM 10.8 (going by memory--it might actually be 10.7), when editing a document, a crash or restart of the client will result in the document being recovered when the client is restarted and reconnected to the server.
