Read contents inside a WTDocument from Windchill

Is there a way to read the contents inside a primary content of a WTDocument stored in Windchill through ThingWorx REST OData Connector when the Windchill is on single sign on mode? We are able to read the contents if the Windchill is on non-SSO mode. But on SSO mode, the mashup widget fails to read content from Windchill as it couldn't get authenticated.  We are on ThingWorx 9.3.7 and Windchill 12.1.2.5

You can use Windchill REST service DownloadContentAsZip in https://support.ptc.com/help/windchill_rest_services/r2.7/en/windchill_rest_services/WCCG_RESTAPIsAccessPTCCommonDomainactions.html# to download the content files to ThingWorx but I am not clear what you mean by "read the contents inside a primary content". Not sure if you want to look for something specific, can you clarify?
