Import/Export Part Structure using Name or another attribute except Number

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS11

How to use custom numbers and import a structure with autogenerated numbers using Import From Spreadsheet Action.

Hi ,

if you are using auto numbering then you can omit the number column and and it will get number assigned from sequence as per OIR for Part creation 

On the other hand for creating BOM (structure) we have to use numbers of existing parts in system .

so you have to use a 2 step process :

1- create part and get their numbers 

2- create BOMs with numbers from step 1
