When I ran into this issue with ModelCheck, I found it wasn't always the part itself causing the error, but components of the assembly we were trying to check in. I had the engineers (with much complaining) do their check-ins on the components before doing the assembly. I also set the hours to something like 5000 so we would not have an error with the check. The files had to have the ModelCheck run time parameter added to the files so the check for hours since last run could be calculated by ModelCheck. Once we got it set up, and the start parts all updated, everything is running fine now.
We started our Creo design on this project with Windchill before we had ModelCheck turned on, so lots of created parts that caused issues when ModelCheck was turned on. Also, we were using the AFX library for structural shapes and all of those template files (only what we used) had to be updated with ModelCheck so future files would be okay.
Thanks, I had tried 999 but will try 5000 😊
