Unable to edit attribute from DocumentUsageLink.

Unable to edit attribute which is created on DocumentUsageLink.
Description:
Created an IBA on DocumentUsageLInk but unable to edit from Document Structure tab-->Uses tab.
Is there any API or settings to update the attribute from DocumentUsageLink.

This behaviour is an expected behaviour and documented in KB article https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS166347‌.
