What is Build process ? How it is used for customization deployment ?

Hi All,

What is Build process mechanism and how it is used for Customization deployment purpose?

also if we used this build process, the build name will be displayed when we enter Windchill version command, so its easy to know the system configuration/customization.

 

Any help in this regards is really appreciated.
