Windchill Workgroup Manager Customization
Version: Windchill 13.0
Use Case: I want to give the user the possibility to access directly sharepoint info pages to gain information and/or launch external applications etc.
Description:
Is there a possibility to customize the UI of the Workgroup Manager such as adding a TAB or RIBBON with ICONS as you can do in PTC Creo?
Other idea is to have the possibility to add more browser tabs with different (home) pages.
I have looked in the ini file but it seems that this is very limited.
Any idea or suggestion?

Hi @bbusschers
Thank you for your question.
Your post appears well documented but has not yet received any response. I am replying to raise awareness. Hopefully, another community member will be able to help.
Also, feel free to add any additional information you think might be relevant. It sometimes helps to have screenshots to better understand what you are trying to do.

To explain it a little bit more:
The TOP ribbon contains the dropdown menus: FILE VIEW GO etc.
Just below it there are the TABS: MAIN HOME etc.
Is it possible to customize these?
I have seen already that it is possible to add more tabs:
But I can not find a possibility to add icons or start commands to these additional TABS or toolbars.
Beside of the above I have seen that it is possible to open several Windows:
But when you arrange that you are loosing this when you close the application and start it again.
I hope this is clarifying I little bit where I am looking for.
regards,
Bert
