Hi @arongoni

Thank you for your question!

I’d like to recommend to bring more details and context to your initial inquiry. For example:

  • Do you have the SMTP server details (e.g., server address, port, username, password) that Windchill will use to send emails?
  • Who are the intended recipients of these emails? Are they specific clients, or should the emails be sent to a broader audience?
  • Have you already configured any part of the email setup in Windchill, or are you starting from scratch?

Please add screenshot(s) to better understand what you are trying to do in your process.

Please refer to this guideline to make your questions more likely to receive a quick and useful answer.

This will increase your chances to receive meaningful help from other Community members.

What is a good question?

@arongoni

A word to the wise, the trusted certificate you create and import expires after a period of time. From what I’ve seen I’d say two or three months.

To make life easier I wrote a batch file that will create and import a new certificate. The admin loves it.

Also, you need to hardcode the 0ffice 365 from email address into the IE task SendMail.xml.

This needs to be done in the Send-Mail

webject in that SendMail IE task.

Finally, the SendMail IE task does get overwritten when applying a new CSP, so you have to remember to go back and edit the webject in that task after upgrading to new CSP.

A bit of a pain I know but if you follow these tips you should be Ok.

Are you talking about delegation? This is done in the user's personal calendar. If you are talking about relaying mail to a mail server, depends on your current setup and OS. What OS are you using and what mail host?
