Webcast Q&A
Question from Bruce: Can an annotation set, somehow be transformed to a Simplified Rep to Creo?
Answer: What you do inside of Creo View does not go back to Creo Parametric. But you could bring a Sim Rep from Creo into Creo View.
Question from Bruce: Can Creo View annotation be exported as a STEP file?
Answer: No. However, someone can download Creo View Express which is free and then they would open the PVZ which has the annotation in it.
Webcast Q&A
Question from JP: Is there any Compare in Lite?

Webcast Q&A
Question from Mike: If you have your own A/R server, how is it configured in Creo View to export to that server rather than to the ptc.com server?
Answer: The Publish in Creo View is only to the PTC cloud instance.
Webcast Q&A

Webcast Q&A
Question from Patrick: Can you compare something that was just 2D to something that is now 3D with 2D associated drawing? For example a lot of data might be legacy that had a 2D master with only a pdf. Can I compare that pdf with the pdf comparator?
Answer: You would compare the original 2D drawing to the update 2D drawing, not 2D to 3D.
Webcast Q&A
Question from Raghu: How would I display the AXES created in Creo Parametric and cut a section through one of them?
Answer: You would turn on Datum Axis to be included in your Recipe setting for publishing out of Creo View. Then you need to turn them on in Creo View to be referenced. I.E. RMB in your view / View Settings / Filters / Check Axis On.
We have a case where production planners open a number of viewables into the same current session of Creo View. This is done to assist with work packages in the context of the overall design. What we find is we cannot then remove / delete the viewable or close from current session. Is there a way to build a temporary structure that can be manipulated using viewables direct from Windchill.

Dave.
