Bulk upload of ProE data to PDMLink

Hi Fellow Windchillers,

Have a large amount (dont know the exact size) of Wildfire 3, 4 and 5 data as versioned files on hard disk which needs to be checked in to Windchill PDMLink 8.  Is there some kind of tool or software available for this? Is it paid?

Am aware that Wildfire 3 & 4 are compatible with PDMLink 8.0 and Wildfire 5 is not.

Please let me know if more information is required.

On searching the web found two tools one by Etrage and one by Fishbowl and also found the following thread from the PTC Community: How to import cad files in Windchill - PTC Community

So you want to load the Wildfire 5.0 data into Windchill 8.0? Or only the WF3 & 4??

It also sounds like you want to try and load version history... is that correct?

We have extensive experience loading data into INTRALINK 3.X and Windchill 8, 9, 10+ with our own tools, PTC Tools and custom methods.

Data loading is never glamorous and always more challenging then one thinks.

Executives often think loading CAD data is similar to Word documents, and the technical people know it is 100x more difficult.
