Can I install Windchill 9.1 M060 with SQL Server 2008 ?

Can we install Windchill 9.1 M060 with SQL Server 2008 ? Any experience with this kind of configuration, tips & tricks ?

As per this compatibility matrix Windchill 9.1 is compatible with SQL Server 2008

In the guide we have a statement ( pg 12, bullet 13 )

Oracle 11.2.0.2 and SQL Server 2008 R2 is supported for all 9.1 releases as of June 2011. See patches for Windchill 9.1 to support Oracle 11gR2 or SQL Server R2 that must be applied. Oracle 11.2.0.2 is supported with the Windchill installation as of M062. SQL Server 2008 R2 is only supported as an upgrade, not as part of the Windchill installation.

I am facing the same issue right now.

Could you figure out.. what exactly it is meant with:

"SQL Server 2008 R2 is only supported as an upgrade, not as part of the Windchill installation. "
