Is there anyway to convert a document with an extension such as .dxf or .sldprt to a Cad Document in Windchill?
It appears that only translations created from a Creo part or assmembly are considered a Cad Document such as .igs or .stp.
If the files were converted to Cad Documents, they could be checked out to worspace and handled in the same manner as any other Cad Document.
This forces use to use two different interface approaches in order to control all of our different translations of CAD files of our product that we then export and post to our website for download. This is very timeconsuming and was a snap in Intralink.
Any help would be appreciated.
