Concurrent Users Count Low?

Using Pro/Intralink 9.1 with Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.

We have a mix of floating and node-locked Pro/Engineer licenses. I was
going to rely on the Windchill Site Utilities license report to estimate
utilization of our Pro/Engineer licenses, but the license count reported
by Windchill is lower than expected.

Is there a timeout period in Windchill and / or Pro/Engineer where if
you don't refresh your workspace, check-in, download, save, etc.,
Windchill doesn't consider you "active" / concurrent?

Can query this table directly in the database for Windchill for the login event:

Can do this for any date range. A quick way to get between 1 and 2 days ago is shown here (use the difference between the results 4138-2551=1587 logins in 24 hours).

Note that "Logoff" is also recorded in this table - it occurs after an idle time; the user takes no specific logoff action.
Note also that someone may log in many times in a single day - can group by user (IDB5 - can show actual user if needed).
Note also that a CAD user may log in via a stand-alone browser, and also via ProE/Creo

There is no logout in Windchill, so 30 minutes of inactivity is
considered to be a logout.

Also if you are running a cluster and an early MOR of R9.1, then there
*may* be a bug whereby the user count is for 1 node rather than the
whole cluster.

I say "may" as early R9.1 MORs are ancient history from an R&D
perspective and I'm getting senile.
