Creating Silent Workgroup Manager Uninstaller

All,

I'm currently working with IT to automate the uninstaller (uninstall.js)
for the Windchill 9.1 M030 Workgroup Manager. It is running, but once
executed, it prompts the user to click "Next" during the uninstallation
process. We would like to make this silent or require zero user
interaction to uninstall the WGM.

Has anyone had experience doing this through SCCM or Altirus? Or were
additional js scripts required to get the uninstall to work as desired?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Melodie

I never installed the WGM, I deployed it like Pro/E.

Install on one machine, copy loadpoint to server, make launch script and distribute as needed.

Hi All,

I am using InstallRite25 - a poor man's capture software. It creates a list of all changes in file and registry structure which allows to easily create uninstall script. I am sure you can do the same with Altiris.

My last post had a sample launch script for the Workgroup Manager, however it had some issues... so here isanother sample that works much better.
