Custom Attributes to be published to the Distribution target

Guys ,

I have created a Distribution Target (File Type) to output the BoM Information as XML . But I am not able to pusblish the custom attributes that i have on the WTPart which is displayes in the BoM . How can I publish them as XML to the distribution target ? Thanks in advance.
