Hello,
We are currently using Windchill PDMLink 9.0 M060.
I have been developing a query using the Query Builder tool. I am using the "excel2000WebQuery.xsl" stylesheet. Please refer to the WCCustomizersGuide if you have questions on this (page 963 for specifics about this stylesheet).
When I connect the query with MS Excel 2007, the part number that is generated is having a zero truncated from the beginning which is causing data integrity issues. I am trying to figure out if somehow I can create a copy of this stylesheet then make sure that instead of the part number being put into "General" type cells within Excel that they are imported into "Text" cells so that the zero is not truncated from the beginning of the part number.
Would someone provide me details on how I can prevent the zero from being truncated within Excel <u>or</u> how I can create a custom stylesheet to make sure the data is transferred into Excel exactly how it appears within the browser on the Windchill system?
Thank you for any help in advance.
