Default Calculated vs. Content Link for Drawings?

Hi Everyone,
We are debating the use of a preference that creates a Content link between drawings and WTParts through the associated CAD. What we found with Content links is that downstream (MPMLink) objects automatically are linked to the same drawing. I am wondering if any of you have used this preference to create Content links to drawings and why?

One issue we found with calculated links is actions like Export will not grab calculated drawings only content linked drawings.

We found that with calculated links and family tables, you have to add each instance as a model to the drawing for it to calculate the drawing to the part.

Brian,
We found the same issue. Alternatively you can "Edit Association" for the drawing and the instance WTParts. This is of course a manual association.

It's work either way. Would be nice if they had a choice in CREO to add all instances while in the drawing. 🙂
