Use Case: Set default release target as 'Release' for a single part type. The same part has 2 different lifecycles in two different containers. One has 'prototype released' as the highest state, the other one has 'production released.' In change notice, the default target should be selected as per the lifecycle state.
Description:
There is a subtype of part whose Release state is different in two different containers (Prototype Released & production Released.) A custom change transition named Release is defined in Custom modeled enumerations. The same has been mapped in two different life cycle templates.
Change task shows Release in the dropdown along with other states but not setting this 'Release' as default. I have tried creating a mapping rule for the part type to setup default value using below link. This is not working. Could you help?
