Disable or Hide OOTB Change Request Type while creating

RG_10753677_0-1694438956574.png

Is it possible to disable the OOTB Change Request type while creating the Change Request? I was able to get our custom CR type populate as a default, but I'm looking to disable this OOTB.

Hello @RG_10753677

Yes you can.

You need to set attribute instantiable to no on the Change Request type.

Be sure that your subtype after change has the instantiable to yes. it is common that the new subtype is driven from upper type.

I tried that, but it's not letting me create a new CR anymore, even if the subtype's 'Instantiable' is set to 'Yes'

Sorry, It worked now. I didn't realize I have to edit the subtype after changing the OOTB one. Thank you so much.
