There was a thread on this recently - following up.
For comment text entered during workflow assignments, when the text is too long to fit in the History Routing / Process table cell, it shows one of two ways:
- Up to 100 characters: display 3 dots (...). User can see all text by hovering the mouse on them.
- Over 100 characters: display 3 dots (...) which are a hyperlink. User can see all text by selecting the hyperlink and the complete text displays in a separate popup window.
(The value 100 is a guess from tech support) but seems to be true. Tech support also says that customizing this value is not supported and where it is hard coded is not known.
We'd very much like to have only the 2nd behavior (always providea hyperlink if the text does not fit).
Question: Has anyone successfully been able to do this? Anyone know where it is hard coded if in fact it is? Other thoughts?
