Community Tip - You can change your system assigned username to something more personal in your community settings. X
I did a quick search of PTC's knowledge base and the community and didn't find anything.
David,
I think if you turn on password verification, there are settings for history, length, types of characters, etc...
For example our passwords have to meet the following:
• 8 characters or more in length
• Contain at least one UPPERCASE letter: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
• Contain at least one lowercase letter: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
• Contain at least one numeral: 123456789
• Contain at least one special character: !@#$%^&*()_+=[]\;’,./{}|:”<>?
We have our history set to saving the last 5 passwords, after that they can be reused. This setting is user configurable.
I did experiment with password aging, for example having passwords expire after 90 days, but was unable to get it to work.
If I remember correctly, you have to do this all inside the admin tool for the WindchillDS, which is completely separate from the other Windchill admin tools.

What you're looking for is a WindchillDS Password Policy. See the below link for instructions on setting up a policy:
