Does upgrade manager take care of MDT

Hi all, We are having medical device template installed on PDMLink8.0 and we are planning to upgrade to Windchill 9.1, so just wanted to know whether upgrade manager taakese care of MDT stuff too during upgrade. thanks, Aditya
