Drawings as PDF - Quick way to download them?

In reference to this conversation, is it possible to attach that pdf to an email in a workflow? Anyone done this?

I would prefer to use the workfow to construct a direct URL to the
application data primary content so the user just clicks a link to open
the content directly, assuming they have access to it.

Here is an example of what the URL might look like after it is constructed
in 10.0.

RE: Drawings as PDF - Quick way to download them?

Hello

if you have a CAD worker which automatically create a representation in pdf, why not open the pdf in ProductView and simply save it ?

Just an FYI, not sure if it pertains to this conversation but 10.1 allows you to download the PDF directly from the right click button on a representation.
