During Solr index rebuild process, solrserver-stderr throws error "Connection timed out: connect"

Description:

  • During Solr index rebuild process,  sometimes, there is error error "Connection timed out: connect" throws from solrserver-stderr log. And Customer found that this Monday, Solr Admin Page can't access. Then restart Solr Server will makes Solr Server active again.
  • Customer have 1500,000+ items need to rebuild. Bulk index process is keep running for 10 days, currently, still 300,000 items waiting in BulkIndex Queue

 

Questions:

1. Customer need to know why Solr Server can not be connected after quite long time bulk indexing process.

2. Is it issue about network or memory insufficient?
