Hello,
The OOTB export option does not include the Name field when exported
into an Excel format.
We use the name field as equivalent to the description of the part,
without this field on the exported Excel, is it hard to tell what part
it is.
So the questions are:
1. How to export the BOM into an excel format with the Name field
included?
2. How to export the BOM into an excel format with Soft Attributes that
are defined on the part? (We have very few defined on the parts and
would like that included in the exported file)
3. Is there a way to set what fields should be included when exporting
the BOM into an Excel format and make it available to all users so that
when they export it will be the same for all users?
The multi-level BOM report can do this and I can create custom view to
include all the fields in it. However, I cannot export that into an
Excel file.
Please let me know if you have found a way to do this.
