Get initial state (Promoted from State) of object in Promotion Request

Got a two states from which objects promote (in Promotion Request) to third one.
Need a code to get list of initial states (Promoted from State) of these objects.
I already search in PromotionNoticeHelper and VersionControlHelper and got nothing.
