Go to Preference management on a site level, go to - Promotion Process ->Fixed Roles For Promote set this preference..

CONTEXT ROLE = WORKFLOW ROLE - both roles can be same

The preference is currently set to:

APPROVER=PROMOTION APPROVERS | REVIEWER=PROMOTION REVIEWERS

So the Promotion Approvers are automatically preselected from context team also Promotion Reviewers.

We are setting up WC for the first time and I'm trying to set up the Promotion Approvers.

I think the current setting is the default
