How many notifications we would get for password expiry ? How to set this number?

~How to set mail notification frequency if we can ?

EX : If we have set the password expiry notification to give alert before 5 Days of password expiry, it will notify users, but will it notify everyday ? and what will be the frequency of getting notification/per day ? Can we set this value ?
