My windchill is installed on drive D, and the file electronic repository is also on Drive D. The space on Drive D is full and cannot be expanded. How can I move the current electronic repository to another drive on this computer? Are there any detailed operation steps?
Can you ewplain whet is the "electronic repository" ?
A new defaultsystemvault path has been set to drive E. I want to move the defaultsystemvault and files that currently exist on Drive D to drive E as well
It appears you are saying that your vaults are filling up on the d: drive. You need to create a new vault on a new drive that you can mount and has plenty of space. From there you can reconfigure the vaulting rules to have Windchill write files to this new vault. This is done from the Site Utilities - File Server Administration.
Other way this: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS231739?source=search
This involves moving the vault to a new location, then changing the mount path in Windchill and revalidating. You want to make sure you sync this, do not allow writes when you make the change and validate that content was moved.
A new defaultsystem vault path has been set to drive E. I want to transfer the defaultsystem that currently exists on drive D Vault and documents also moved to E disk, because I D plate is full, already affect normal operation of system, need to put the original data also migrated to E disk, this operation can be real at https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS231739?source=search Now?
