How to assign a Role to an existing Role in Windchill 10.1?

Hi , I am not able to assign one user-defined role say ROLE_1 to another user-defined role ROLE_2.

Is it possible in Windchill10.1?

I got the following information from Windchill help guide:

Assigning Roles to Roles

Use the following procedures to assign a team role actor to a life cycle role:

1. Click the Roles tab.
2. Select a role and click Add to add the role to the Participants list.
3. Continue to the Groups, Users, Organizations, or Actors tab.
   or

   Click OK to save your changes and close the window.

I don't think you're able to add a role in a role in a lifecycle definition, even in 10.1

It seems to be a mistake in the help guide

you can define roles in lifecycle :

you can then assign users, group, actors (for example creator of the object), org ... directly in the lifecycle.

,but you should better use a team instance or a container team to map users or groups to your role
