How to get the representation on Parts from the CAD document associated with owner link without using the build process ?

Our Parts and CAD structures are not synchronized but some nodes are linked with owner links. I would like to get the representation on Parts without building the Part structure.

Out of the Box, you can use Image or Contributing Image link to build the Parts without synching the BOM.

another way by keeping the owner link, is to define an occurrence boolean parameter on the CAD structure link (epmmemberlink) that allow to define directly in CAD software which particular occurrence of a CAD component will build the BOM usage link.  So I assume if setting "false" on all childs,we can Build the Part , so copy forward the Representation, but without building the BOM.

But think this feature is only available for Creo and Catia ... not for CADDS ...

another way: custo ...   just copy forward the CAD rep to WTpart  as "inherited default", like the normal build process
