If I have CAD drawings being modified in a PROJECT, how do I maintain the WTPart association that it has in PDM following the PDM Check-in?
I thought I had to collect the Part when I revise the CAD drawing (in PDM; can't add a drawing to a project to modify unless in WIP) to keep it connected, but when I do a Convert to PDM Check-out on the drawing, the Part doesn't maintain its association when I Send back to PDM when I am done.
I can do a PDM Check-out on the Part, but it may need to be worked on in PDM during the course of a Project (our projects can last 18 months).
I can show them how to associate the Parts to the drawings when they come back to PDM, but there has to be an easier way.
