I have been searching for a method to retrieve CAD files from Windchill using an external program. Does anyone know the API/libraries need to do this thru the WGM? My company is already getting data out via other methods, but it does not have the controls the WGM provides and was a large amount of customization. My goal is to fill some of the gaps in the WGM integration with the CAD, as well as other automation. Some examples might be replacing the insert command in the CAD (SW, Inventor) that brings up the Windows Explorer window that only lists the filename with something similar to the "Open from Windchill" action that brings up a WGM file browser that has WC attributes.Or maybe retrieving the CAD templates/settings from Windchill.
