How to restore backup workspace

Good morning:

We installed Creo 3.0 yesterday afternoon and I don't know if this process caused issues in my workspaces.

I am not able to access the information that was saved last week or yesterdday morning on the local workspaces using Creo 2.0.

- Not uploaded to server, only stored in local machine.

- The event manager clearly shows that all of the items were saved, but they don't show up on the workspace.

I was able to open all of the files up until I loaded Creo 3.0.

Can anyone help me open the workspace that is stored in the backup folder.

- Maybe show me how to rename the workspace and other needed files, where to copy, and how to get Creo 2.0 to open it.

Attached are snapshots of the cache folders where I think the changes might be required, but I'm not sure.

Windchill PDM Essentials 10.2 (M010)

Creo 2.0 (M090)

Any help is going to be greatly appreciated.

Benito,

There is a third party utility that could be helpful here. Please refer to the following article:

https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS104751

Technical support also has some tools in-house that can be used for data recovery. Please note that in all of these cases that the sid_*.wfcont or lid_*.wfcont files must also still exist in the cache in order to be able to recover the files.
