IEException Thrown When Performing a Search

Has anyone run across the following error message in the past?

Server Exception: com.infoengine.util.IEException: AttributeTypeIdentifier is not valid for sorting:

AttributeTypeIdentifier.WCTYPE.wt.fc.Persistable.MBA.member@WCTYPE.wt.FolderMembership.MBA.folder.WCTYPE.wt.folder.Folder

If so, could you kindly point me toward a solution?

We are only seeing this on one users computer. I had him reboot his PC, and I have rebooted our Windchill, Apache, and Tomcat services (and moved the log files to backup locations).

We manage our permissions by Group rather than by User, so I am at a loss how this got tied to this particular user.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Mike Bakke who suggested;

"Sounds like a gummed up table display. See if it happens on other table displays for the search results. Maybe try a default one first."

This approach cleared things right up.
