We face decisions around using TeamCenter or Windchill for various aspects of PLM functionality as both are already in place at different levels in our business. Probably 90% of our CAD data is in Creo Parametric and already in Windchill. The rest is from NX and is in TeamCenter. Neither system has gotten much past PDM use yet.
We're interested in hearing from other customers who have experienced using TeamCenter to manage Creo Parametric (or other PTC tool) data, or blending TeamCenter and Windchill in their business. What worked well? What doesn't work well?
We have Siemens and PTC/KPIT of course telling us one story. Siemens has made some claims we definitely know are false because we happen to know people in the company they referenced. We haven't "caught" PTC/KPIT doing the same but hearing from customers directly would certainly help us feel better about our decisions. I hope then we can become an example others can learn from.
