Integrations with MOM

Hi All,

I would like to know from the group, whether anybody has integrated any Message Oriented Middlewares (MOM) with Windchill. If yes, which MOM is being used?

We are trying to use ActiveMQ with Windchill. Anybody has any experience with this? Or any other suggested MOMs.

Please share your experiences.

Hi Praseeth

ActiveMQ has a web console for checking the incoming and outgoing messages.
That would enable you for performing the unit test cases as well as
monitoring the queues.

ActiveMQ has a very good user forum from where you can get tips/tricks if
you got stuck.



Once you have a good handle on how to gather information from Windchill,
post to a message queue, subscribe to a queue and update/handle
successful/failure transactions, you can go with a wide variety of MOM.

Can you please throw some more light on ActiveMQ integration with windchill , I cant find anything substantial on PTC help center.

- What is the process of ActiveMQ integration with windchill ?

- Any prerequisites to keep in mind ? 

- Any configurations required ?
