Is Workgroup Manager needed if using only Pro/E?

Is Workgroup Manager needed if using only Pro/E?

We will me migrating from Intralink 3.4 to 9.1 and use it only to manage Pro/E files and a few non-CAD documents (MS Word, Excel, etc).
Do I need to include/install the Workgroup Manager at all?

Even if it's not needed, is there an advantage to having it installed?

No, the WGM for Pro/E is built into Pro/E.

If you were manage AutoCad, Solidworks or others than you would need the WGM.

Of course with Autocad, if you are not using dependencies, you could
migrate those files over as non-EPMDocuments and then you wouldn't need
the WGM either...
