Has anyone else experienced problems from a client PC using IE7 and Java 1.6 (any version) with any of the administrative tool Java applets (like Report Manager, File Server Manager, etc.)?
In IE on a client PC, we will get errors on any of these applets unless we are using Java 1.5, OR we can use Java 1.6 if we loop back into the network on the VPN! (no idea why that makes a difference)
This is only the case on a client PC using IE.
These applets will work in IE with Java 1.6 on the actual Windchill server.
And Chrome and Firefox are fine under any conditions. (see below)
I haven't found anything in IE that should cause this "selective" problem. Any ideas?
