Question: What permissions are required for a user to see the Manage Replacements menu pick in the actions drop down for components in a Product Structure table view (at details page of End Item or WTPart)?
Previously, we were able to prevent the creation of Alternate links and only permit the creation of Substitute links and the Manage Replacements menu pick functioned as intended.
In 9.1, those users can no longer even see that menu pick. Admins can, of course.
Note: Alternate links and Substitute links are completely different, hence PTC's use of separate ACL's for controlling them. Therefore, the Manage Replacements menu pick should be exclusive of the permissions on both of them. Allowing one or the other should enable that menu pick to appear for the respective users.
