Markups not synchronized between iterated wtpart and caddoc viewables

publish.copyrepresentationsforward.restrict = false

I have the following scenario:

1. caddoc A.1 and associated wtpart A.1
2. navigate to caddoc A.1 details page
   1. open the viewable in Creo View
   2. create a markup named "caddoc 01 markup"
3. navigate to wtpart A.1 details page,
   1. open the viewable in Creo View
      1. the "caddoc 01 markup" is shown
   2. create a markup named "wtpart A.1 markup"
4. navigate back to the caddoc A.1 details page
   1. open viewable in Creo View
      1. the "caddoc 01 markup" is shown
      2. the "wtpart A.1 markup" is shown
5. iterate the wtpart to create wtpart A.2
6. navigate to details page of wtpart A.2
   1. open the viewable in Creo View
      1. the "caddoc 01 markup" is shown
      2. the "wtpart A.1 markup" is shown
   2. create a markup named "wtpart A.2 markup"
7. navigate to the caddoc details page
   1. open the viewable in Creo View
      1. the "caddoc 01 markup" is shown
      2. the "wtpart A.1 markup" is shown
      3. the "wtpart A.2 markup" is NOT shown??????
   2. create a markup named "caddoc 02 markup"
8. navigate to the wtpart A.1 details page
   1. open the viewable in Creo View
      1. the "caddoc 01 markup" is shown
      2. the "caddoc 02 markup" is shown
      3. the "wtpart A.2 markup" is NOT shown??????
9. navigate to the wtpart A.2 details page
   1. open the viewable in Creo View
      1. the "caddoc 01 markup" is shown
      2. the "caddoc 02 markup" is NOT shown?????
      3. the "wtpart A.1 markup" is shown
      4. the "wtpart A.2 markup" is shown

Is this expected behavior???

How do I coerce Windchill into synchronizing the markups?

To me this is very confusing behavior.

• How does one know which viewable to look at?
• How does one know which viewable to markup?
