Moving data during intralink to pdmlink migrations

Gurus,

We are in the middle of our Intralink 3.4 to PDMlink 9.1 migration project, and our vault data moving process is not the best. I'm hoping one of you will have abetter solution.

We have 1.5 TB of Intralink data, stored on two Intralink servers (UNIX), in 42 separate vaults. We need a way to repeatedly move that data onto Windows servers. FTP requires 42 separate sessions, all without error logging, and this takes about 3 days to move the data. We tried a tool called robocopy, but lately it's been dropping it's network connection in middle of a session. That might be an issue with my PC, which may not be repairable.

We need a solution that is able to "mirror" several UNIX directories with several Windows folders.A solutionwhere I can copy the data in one session, then re-run thecommand(s) so only the daily vault changes are copied. We cant recopy ALL the data every day/migration. We need to get incremental updates.

Any suggestions ?

Look at Hummingbird NFS Maestro 2008.

This should allow you to map drives from the Windows Box to the UNIX Box and
then you can copy the files.

I do not think it will help you with the amount of time it takes to move the
files.
