New Document Type issue

Morning All,

I have an interesting problem that has cropped up just this morning. When users create new WTDocuments the document type selection defaults to the one custom document type we have. Previously the user wouldbe ableto choosefrom the different default types plus the custome type.

The document creation wizard proceeds normally after that. I checked the Type manager; the types that were available before still exist. And nothing points to that particular doc type by name in the OIR.

Any insights as to why this change might have occurred and how it can be resolvedwould be welcome. I have a case logged, just wanted to put it to you all as well.

Most Peculiar, TIA,

Bob,

Check if types (ones you want in selection) are instantiable.

Yogesh,

I did check, those types are instantiable. Thank you for replying.

Hello Bob

if the user has create access privileges only to the specific soft type, the
document create wizard directly takes you to the second step for defining
the attributes. The behavior you are noticing - is that for all the users
including wcadmin.

Thank you and have a great time.

Best Regards

Swamy,

It is across the board for any WTDocument for all users, including wcadmin.I'mgoing back over any recent policy admin changes I may have made and cant think of any that would result in this. They edit were adding sub-rules to existing domains and it was for EPMDoc'snot WTDoc's.

Thanks,

Are the OIRs for the other Document Types still valid? If for some reason a rule in an OIR can't be resolved, such as Lifecycle Template, that Doc Type will not show up in the list of types.
