OCU error for Windchill installation

Hi Fellow Windchill Users,

Am in the process of installing Windhill 10.1 M030 on a vSphere setup with oracle11g on one VM say vm1 and windchill server on the other say vm2 ( both are Windows Server R2 2008 64 bit) On starting PSI on the windchill server getting OCU error. Attached please find OCU error log. Please let me know if there is a way to debug this. I am also in the process of contacting ptc.com helpdesk.
(have carried the basic checks of pinging both the vms from each other and also from other machines and the etc/drivers files for both vms have also been updated with hostname and IP information)

Thanks,
Amol

I would like to change a Part from a SoftType to its base modeled
Type, essentially removing the SoftType information from it. Does
anyone have any example code to that?

Thanks,

Ron

Log a ticket with Tech Support. There is a temp patch they can provide (for 9.1 anyways). From a command line you can then specify what Type you want to change from and then to, and it will generate the SQL you can use to change ALL objects of the FROM type to the TO type.

We then used that SQL and added an additional WHERE clause so we could do it on an object by object basis. I'm not sure if the patch is valid for 10.x or if they built it into 10.x. I believe they may have built it in.
