Oracle Enterprise Edition or Standard Edition

Hello guys,

From your experience which edition suits better Windchill application, especially in term of performance aspect.

Does Standard Edition cover it? of course there is a big difference in the price footprint.

We want to make a decision before buying the Oracle licenses.

Is SQL an option for you?  We are going to be switching with our next upgrade.

We are considering the same move, anyone have feedback on the pros and cons of making the switch from Oracle Enterprise to Oracle Standard?

Since then we have switched to SQL.  Much lower cost and we really haven't noticed any difference.

Running into same situation moving from EE to SE.

Any reference you can point to would be of great help.

@DKWc at the time, we ended up moving to AWS private cloud and did not have to make the Oracle decision any more.
