PSI Fails with Error during schema Creation , while adding columns

Hi All,

I am trying to install Windchill 11.0 M030-CPS11 on Windows 10 machine. I am getting the attached error and the installation is then getting aborted.

I have seen a PTC Case where it was said to run the below command

xconfmanager -s wt.db.maxBytesPerChar=3 -t codebase\wt.properties –p

But even after the property value got changed the installation is getting aborted. The PSI Installer error is as below

This appears to be an intermittent issue.  I've seen it in a couple of 11.x installations so far.  It throws this error when I run through the installation picks and walk away -- assuming it will complete eventually.  Rerunning the PSI doesn't help.  It is terribly frustrating because the only/most expedient solution I've found is to delete the installation and start over.

It will complete successfully if I sit there and interact with the screen occasionally.  I haven't logged a call since it isn't repeatable, has only happened twice over the last 4 months, and time is critical when it happens.

Anyone else found a way to fix/prevent this?

Did you get solution for the issue ?

Even i'm facing similar issue and installation getting failed at 53% saying "Error during Schema creation"

Created user as per the requirement, using create_user.sql from /windchill/db/sql3 folder..

Correct me if i'm doing something wrong.
