Hi , I have a question regarding the Project Creator role. We installed ProjectLink 9.1 recently on existing PDMLink installation. I expected the functionality of Project Creator will be similar to Product Creator or Library Creator. For Product or Library Creators, I have to explicitly add users to that role from Org->Creators tab to give any user Product or Library creation privilege. However it seems like all the default Org users are given privilege to create Project by default. There are no icons to add or remove users from Project Creator role. I am wondering if there is any configuration or preference that changes this behavior. We like to control who creates the Projects also.
Go to the details page of the Organization (where the project falls under) and check if the option All Organization Members Can Create Projects is Yes.
Edit the Organization and change this to No.
Then under the Project Creators, you can add the required members.
Under organization, you basically edit the org to remove the users who can create and a checkbox to allow all to create. Wish I had screenshot handy. Someone else can provide maybe.
